Brief Description
This traditional and friendly tearoom, located in the heart of Burton Town Centre, serves delicious breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon teas made with local produce. Join us to become a vital part of our team, contributing to the warm and inviting atmosphere, developing fantastic ‘hospitality’ skills and knowledge such as recognising customer needs.
Qualifications Required
Maths and English GCSE at grade 2 or a relevant grade 1 functional skills qualification.

Training to be Provided
Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
Future Prospects
Upon completing this apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to advance to a hospitality supervisory or team-leading role within the industry. You may also have the opportunity for long-term employment at Helen’s Bake House and Tearoom.

You'll learn to communicate effectively and use your initiative to determine customer needs. Additionally, you'll gain insights into handling customer feedback and continuously improving your service.
• Business Knowledge: Understand our business, values, and competition. Learn how your role contributes to achieving business targets and promoting our standards.
• Core Hospitality Skills: Develop essential skills such as welcoming guests, promoting products and services, and understanding the importance of enhancing the customer experience.

Variable hours, working Monday through to Saturday, 4x7 hour shifts. Start time of working day between 8am and 9am.
