Brief Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Vital Energi as a Business Administration Apprentice to support day to day operational and administration duties at our Drakelow Energy from Waste Facility in Burton-Upon Trent.

Training to be Provided

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard (can include Level 2 elements if required)
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release.  The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.

Future Prospects

Development will continue after the apprenticeship has been completed with the option to progress further onto a Level 4 apprenticeship in chosen field. You will have clear objectives and be supported with additional training which will develop personal and professional skills along the way.

Vacancy Detail

As an Apprentice at Vital Energi you will study a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship whilst playing a crucial role in developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving administration services within the organisation.

Day to day you will be responsible for:
Answering incoming phone calls in a timely and polite manner.
Taking and delivering messages ensuring information is accurately captured.
Meet and greet of visitors to the office both internal and external.
Arranging meetings and preparing meeting resources which includes meeting room bookings, documents and refreshments. Taking minutes if requested.
Monitoring, control and replenishment of office supplies.
Supporting line manager with managing requests, correspondence and general queries.
Assisting with general office/administration duties which include printing, scanning and binding.
Ensuring the office is kept clean and tidy.

Other Information

Candidates must be able to reliable commute to the facility. Ideally candidates will have a Full UK driving licence or be able to demonstrate that they are working towards achieving this.
