Brief Description
Launch your career as an Apprentice Buyer at OPmobility and gain valuable experience in procurement and supply chain management. You'll learn about purchasing processes, supplier relationships, and business administration, while working towards a nationally recognised Apprenticeship Standard.
Qualifications Required
Level 2 Administration or Suitable Experience. GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
• A keen interest in business and procurement
Skills Required
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
Training to be Provided
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard (can include Level 2 elements if required)
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to progress within OPmobility, potentially into a full-time Buyer role, or progress into further training such as a degree-level apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
As an Apprentice Buyer at OPmobility, you'll play a vital role in supporting the purchasing team. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
• Processing purchase orders and requisitions
• Managing supplier relationships and resolving issues
• Assisting with supplier onboarding and change management
• Supporting the team with various administrative tasks
You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, develop essential skills in procurement and business administration and work towards achieving your apprenticeship standard.
