Brief Description
Join a dynamic, rapidly growing team in the manufacture of quality Electrical Wiring Harnesses, Test Rigs and additional bespoke services. This vacancy comes at a time of exciting growth, offering opportunities to learn and be involved in a wide range of processes as well as key technical skills.
Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (Apprentices lacking these qualifications must gain them before taking the end point assessment.)

Skills Required
Ability to manage own time and meet deadlines. A team player but have the ability to work independently.
Training to be Provided
Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.

You will join our team in the full production lifecycle of our products and services.
Learning and executing key skills in Harness Wiring:
• Crimping: Deliver precise crimping techniques to securely connect wires to terminals, ensuring electrical conductivity and durability of connections.
• Cutting: Utilise appropriate equipment to accurately cut wires to required lengths, adhering to specifications outlined in work instructions.
• Prepare: Proficiently remove wire insulation, maintaining consistency in length for uniformity in connections.
• Cable Prep: Prepare cables for assembly by organising and arranging wires according to layout diagrams or instructions, ensuring proper alignment and orientation.
• Taping: Apply insulating tape and other materials as necessary to bundle and protect wires.
• Heat Shrinkage: Operate heat shrink equipment to apply heat to sleeves, effectively sealing connections
• Interpret basic electrical drawing wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings: To comprehend assembly requirements and ensure accurate wiring configurations.
