Brief Description

Embark on an exciting journey as an Apprentice Metal Fabricator at Hillcrest Fabrications. You’ll join a dynamic team involved in creating steel structures from 5 to 500 tons! Qualifications Required

GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above

As an Apprentice steel Fabricator, your average day will involve:
• Material Mastery: Learn to work with a variety of mild steel thickness ranging from 3mm to over 50mm.
• Precision Crafting: Interpret technical drawings to mark out, produce, and assemble complex fabricated products, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Joining Techniques: Acquire skills in using mechanical fasteners, fixing techniques, and MIG welding to join steel parts with precision.

Safety Precautions: You will be expected to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Have good knowledge of location of the business and is able to commute to work with ease.
