Vacancy Detail
From your very first day, you’ll be part of our engineering team—learning on the job, getting real responsibilities, and developing skills that will set you up for a successful career.
A typical week might look like this:
• Hands-on maintenance: Spend a day with a senior engineer servicing a recycling press at a customer’s site. You’ll see how regular checks and adjustments keep machines running smoothly and reliably.
• Problem-solving on the spot: When a machine breaks down, you’ll help diagnose the issue and work alongside experts to get it back in action quickly. Every call-out is different, so you’ll constantly be learning new things.
• Project involvement: Back at the workshop, you could join improvement projects, upgrading parts, testing new ideas, and finding smarter, safer, more efficient ways for our machines to operate.
• Skill-building: Some days you’ll be in training, building your knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, and practicing the techniques you’ll use in the field.
No two weeks are the same. One day you might be travelling to a customer in the UK, the next you’re working in our workshop, and another you’re in training. The variety keeps it exciting—and you’ll never stop learning
During your apprenticeship you will:
• Learn how to maintain, service, and repair recycling presses and balers, gaining practical experience with industry-leading technology.
• Work side by side with experienced engineers, picking up real-world problem-solving skills that can’t be learned in a classroom.
• Develop both mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge, giving you a strong foundation for your career.
• Get involved in improvement projects, helping to make our machines smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.
