Brief Description
Elmsleigh Infant and Nursery School is looking for a Teaching Assistant apprentice to join the vibrant, mainstream Infant School nestled in the suburbs of Swadlincote. Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.

A willingness to learn and motivational.

Training to be Provided
Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standard
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.

The post-holder will be required to demonstrate a high level of flexibility being prepared to work across the school EYFS to KS1 and with a wide range of children including SEN.
• The post holder will be required to support the Class Teacher to:
