Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.

Training to be Provided
Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship standard
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.

Vacancy Detail
As an Apprentice Engineering Operative at Multi-Mover UK, you will embark on a comprehensive training journey, learning and contributing to various engineering tasks essential to our operations. Your typical day will include:
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure our electric tow tugs, rail shunters, and other machinery are maintained and serviceable.
• Problem Solving: Deal with machinery breakdowns and restore components to serviceable condition through repair and replacement.
• Operational Tasks: Operate a variety of machines, including CNC and conventional machines, and engage in assembling and repairing machine tools and other equipment.
• Fabrication: Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal parts using various joining techniques and prepare materials for engineering processes.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for communication software, test tools and other technology as needed.
• Compliance: Adhere to statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements, identifying hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.
Other Information
Driving Licence is ideal but not required for the period of Apprenticeship Training. Please be aware that a Driving License will be required if your employment is long-term beyond your apprenticeship training period.
