Brief Description

Join Cedar & Stone Ltd as a Carpentry and Joinery Apprentice and embark on an exciting journey in the construction industry. Learn the art of shaping and installing building components while contributing to projects across Leicestershire, Staffordshire, and beyond.

Qualifications Required

GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (Apprentices lacking these qualifications must gain them before taking the end point assessment.)

• Attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship in carpentry and joinery

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Eagerness to learn and develop practical carpentry and joinery skills.

Training to be Provided

Level 2 Wood Occupations Site or Architectural (Bench) apprenticeship standard
Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
