Brief Description
To maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software and digital communications across the Company.
Qualifications Required
Minimum GCSE grade 5+/C in Maths, English and Computer Science or equivalent. Working towards NVQ Level 2 or A’ Levels.
Personal Qualities
This role will require the candidate to communicate effectively with a wide range of people throughout the business.
To be able to work on their own initiative and independently to find solutions to current business opportunities.
To have a genuine interest in the use of data to visualise complex systems, to identify areas for improvements and to monitor progress towards improvements.

Strong IT skills
Good communication skills
Training to be Provided
Level 3 Digitial Support Technician apprenticeship standard (either Applications or Service Technician)
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
Future Prospects
On completion, the role is a permanent full time position. Further development opportunities are available.

Duties include:
Support workforce in maximising their use of existing Office 365 (Excel, Power Bi, SharePoint etc)
Deploy digital solutions such as Jean Lutz Instrumentation, Big Data platform, ZettaLyse, assist with compiling data from multiple sources
Improve the quality and cleansing of data
Develop data collection systems using digital forms to reduce error and duplication
Interrogate data systems to identify business improvement opportunities, monitor their progress, adoption and efficacy
