Brief Description
Apprentice machinist in workshop environment in Burton on Trent. Producing finished products in a range of materials using various industry machining processes.
Qualifications Required
GCSE's (or equivalent) English & Maths at a grade C/Level 4 or above.

Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship standard
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
Future Prospects
Full time job on completion of apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
Candidate will work alongside skilled tradesmen to learn “on the job” knowledge and gain hands on experience. As learning advances, candidate will be able to manufacture from engineering drawings utilising hand tools and machinery such as;
Manual/CNC lathe
Manual/CNC miller
Vertical/horizontal borer, to achieve finished products independently.
Other Information
Weekly Wage:
Starting at £5.00/hr to be reviewed after 3 month probation.
