Brief Description
This is a superb chance to learn a trade and gain a Level 2 Qualification in Trowel Trades. Working in and around the Burton Area you will be trained to the highest standard. As part of this job, you will also be required to be very versatile and flexible as you will be learning other roles within the organisation.
Qualifications Required
GCSE C/4 or above in English and maths or equivalent.

Training to be Provided
Level 2 Bricklayer apprenticeship standard
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release.? The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
Future Prospects
The possibility of a full time post upon completing the apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
All aspects of brickwork and learning a good working practice. In addition to supporting the existing team of experienced builders with general duties, such as cleaning up and unloading materials, you will have the opportunity to learn a variety of new skills such as:
Bricklaying
You will also be required to load and unload materials and machinery
Construction techniques, types of materials and selecting appropriate tools and equipment
Laying bricks, blocks and other types of building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures
